Overview

We have very high expectations of the young entrepreneurs we partner with, as they do of us.  Quite frankly, Obsidian Launch is not a fit for most people.  So if you don't qualify for Obsidian or you feel we are not a good match, check out our resources page to find alternatives. 

There is no such thing as a magic formula for overnight stardom.  Instead, it is all about focus, hard work and exploiting strengths. While there is no guarantee for success, we can promise you this; if we do partner with you our sole focus will be to grow your company into a small giant and do whatever it takes to get there. We have focused our practice on a very specific type of entrepreneur.  Here is who we are looking for:

1. You must be between the ages of 18 and 26.
2. You must have a business concept that directly supports your passions and your beliefs.
3. You must have a defendable outline of your business, the purpose it serves and the market size for your product or service.
4. The business must not be formed yet or must be in existence less than 2 years with annual revenue under $100K.
5. You must be able to launch your concept without an infusion of cash.
6. You must not have any partners (you will retain 100% equity in the business).
7. Preferably, you are located or willing to move to the Northeast US (New York City area).
